Medline to Deliver Savings and Efficiencies to Leading Health
                            Care System

MUNDELEIN, Ill., July 5, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MemorialCare Health
System, based in Fountain Valley, Calif., selected Medline Industries,
Inc. as its prime vendor distribution partner for medical and surgical
supplies, Medline announced today. The two-year agreement for
distribution services, which begins September 1, 2012, is expected to
drive significant savings and distribution efficiencies for the health
system.

In the agreement, which is expected to be worth approximately $80
million over the course of the deal, Medline will provide its broad
array of national brand and Medline brand medical and surgical
products.

Medline will distribute products directly to the health system's
network of facilities, including six medical centers in Southern
California, from the company's San Bernardino distribution center, one
of Medline's 34 distribution centers around the country.
