June 27, 2012 /India PRwire/ -- People's Choice Kerala Awards 2012 is planned to be organized in August-October 2012 with final announcements to be made by July 14th 2012 on the Event Plan and Schedules. The purpose of Event is to Highlight the Developments and Achievements in the State of Kerala, Come up with Leading Names and Brands available in Market and on a Common Social Media Platform, make people Vote and Know more about the Brands.

Implementing this type of Event was a challenging affair because usually Brands and Companies preferably end up using their advertising budgets on Advertisements, Fashion Shows and Celebrity Endorsements because that is quite easy way out to reach the Consumers and get Brand Promotions. But there always remains a barrier between Brand and Consumer. Our aim is to make consumer know more about the Brands they have as options and that perception influence his choice. What is more popular is not always most preferred or best, so using a social media platform of Facebook, we will make people share their views and involve in micro activities, quiz and definitely the best offers their preferred brand have for them.

To start with, the initiative and event planned by Eixil Group, we have already announced a Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/keralachoiceawards) and a Website (www.prideofkerala.in) and we are committed not to do just an Event or Award Function but starting an Interactive Platform where Consumers can share and interact their opinions and Vote for the Best Choice they can thing in 28 Different Categories. The Votes Received on Social Network combined with Online Votes and Actual Ground Survey will make us reach the final Award Function, to be scheduled for Sept-Oct, where the results will not be by any Jury but by Consumers themselves.
